So, I have used a lot of skincare product over the years ( I have weird skin where my face is combination but the rest of my body is super dry) and since I started working at the spa I have been trying to use some of the products we sell.
One of the main lines we sell is Revision. I was fortunate enough to not only try but get a few products for free from the our sales rep when she came in to show us some of the line so we knew more about it. Here are a few of the items that I started using since then:
Brightening Facial Wash
I have seen a change in my skin since I started using this. I was originally go to use Obagi but one of Estheticans told me that I did not need to since I do not have any skin issues. I also learned that you should not use toner that you buy at the Supermarket because the alcohol in it strips your skin. Learn something new everyday working in a spa.
Multi-Protection Broad-Spectrum SPF 50
I actually got this product for free. When the sales rep came she gave the Intellishade (which I wrote about a while ago) to some of the girls that I work with. With the Intellishade it is meant for lighter skin since it is tinted, which I do not need. The moisturizer is meant for darker or drier skin. I usually do not use moisturizer but I actually like this product. I put it on after my eye cream in the morning and do not have to use other sunblock (even though sometimes I still do). Also, it last about a month or two depending on your usage.
Teamine Concealer
I also got some of this concealer when I was given the moisturizer and it works great. I know upstairs (we have a cosmetic surgery part upstairs) that after people get injections or eye lift that they recommend that they buy this and the eye cream. It works great for dark circle under the eyes (which I get sometimes because of my allergies).
That's it for now. I know I do not lead a super exciting life but I seriously think if I told you some of the stories of things that have happened here at my job Bravo would give us our own show. Until next time, Laters.....

New Buys
I have been shopping a lot lately. Considering where I work is right beside Maggie Moos and in an outdoor mall, I think I would rather spend money on clothing than a pint of ice cream. Anywho, here are some of the new items that I just bought in the last couple of days:
I bought these at Diva cutoffs at Old Navy when they were having the 30% off sale this weekend. I want in for the white ones, but they were super funky fitting. Also, I would recommend buying a size up because they run small.
I also bought this Fit and Flare dress for work. I tried some other "skater" dresses on at other places and this one is the perfect length (it hits right above the knee). I also bought a set of earrings at
the store that they do not sell online.
And next week I am buying all of this since Old Navy is has 40% off their women's active clothing.
And I went to JCPenney and bought 3 shirts for under $30. If you have not been in there lately, they redone the whole homes section where the sell a lot of designers who use to be at Target:
My boyfriend is wanting this Michael Graves Decanter real bad.
I want this Happy chic by Jonathan Alder bedding
And some other kitchen items that he is making to like:
Double Old Fashion Glass
Greek Key Dinner Plate
They selling everything there now including Alder's furniture and some other new brands. That's it for today. My birthday is tomorrow and I have the day off. WHAT WHAT!!!! Until next time, Laters......
