Blueberry Lemonade Rum

Hello all,
School started back for me last Thursday ( I know, most random day to start school back on EVER). Since then I already have quite a bit of schoolwork to do but I am going to try to keep up with blogging a couple of times a week. On last Friday, I thought about trying some liquor that I haven't had before.  Earlier this summer, I made a couple of different drinks.  When I was walking around one of my local ABC stores, I decided to buy and try some Cruzan Blueberry Lemonade rum.

 

It was just something quick and simple that I put together. I know sometimes mixing drinks can involve quit a bit of muddling and stuff. There is no method to how I make drinks so I am definitely not a master bartender. Anywho, here is the recipe for the drink:

 

1/2 cup ice

1 cup lemon lime soda (I used sprite)

1 shot simple syrup

1 shot Blueberry Lemonade Rum (I used 2 of course)
 

 

I added some triple berries to the one I drank this weekend but I did it with for this picture.

I am going to try to make some drinks with this rum because it is actually really good.

Also the other day I tried making a red wine sangria finally. It turned out pretty good. My sangria kick should be ending since summer is coming to an end (sad face). The good thing about that though is that now I can try to make a bunch of drinks with different fall liquor.
