February 2021 Goals

   Last month, I decided to do three goals each month to help me met my bigger goals. I will share the progress of the goals from January after I share my goals for this month.  So, 10 day into February, & I'm already not meeting one of my goals for this month. My goal for February are below:


Try to get 7 to 9 hours a sleep a night
     I use to get about 7 to 8 hours a night then the pandemic happened. Since then, my sleep ranges from 6 to 7.5 hours a night. I know that some of my fatigue would get better if I got more sleep. However, since I'm still unemployed I end up not getting anything that I do for myself done until later in the day (like blogging & trying to do my taxes at the moment). I'm going to try to do a set wake-up & sleep time again to see if that helps with it.   
Cutback on processed sugar
     Since the beginning of Covid in 2020, I've been baking A LOT of cookies, cakes, & pies. So many in fact, that I gained weight like most people from being in the house & eating junk. This is technically going to be one of the things that I'm giving up for lent so I'm eating/ using all the sugar in my house before it starts. I'm still going to eat fruit but no more putting caramel on desserts or apples. 

Be more consistent
     This pertains to most areas in my life in the moment. In the last year, I have become more sluggish then I was before. This has caused me to not be as consistent with exercising, blogging, reading, & with other things in my life. I set some time aside to try to do a little of all these things. If they don't get done, then I need to start evaluating why I'm slacking & not getting finished with task.


Now onto my goals I set in January. I have not had not one cup or shot of coffee since January 1st of this year. I'm still tired during the day but I'm sleeping a little better than I did before. I'm actually getting tired at bedtime now instead of staying up until 1 or 2 in the morning.  I did drink less during January. I pretty much limited my drinking to Wednesdays on my podcast, none during the week, & one day on the weekends. It worked fairly well. I'm going to try to continue doing this as well. Now the reading 4 books was a fail. I am only half-way through the first book I started. I'm going to try to watch less You Tube & TV, replacing that with reading to see how far I get before the end of the month. 

I'm going to try to see if any of the small changes that I made last month helps with what I'm doing this month. Going to make a big goal of trying to read eight books this month. This is a part of the whole being consistent goal. Also, I'm going to try to post more pictures & graphic since it makes things flow easier. Until tomorrow, Peace & Blessings, all!!!
